ExpiredRecent AdsSOS editions name Al Sajaa in Sharjah, and Al Warqa 1 and Karama in Dubai.
Its website cites more than 100 hypermarkets across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and India, while a Gulf News feature cited 72 outlets, so the figure depends on source and date.
A 2019 company press release says the group has operated in the UAE since 1971.
Al Madina Hypermarket flyers on AdsSOS are mostly branch-specific and short. Recent titles name the branch and the district: a four-page "4 Day Wonder" for Al Sajaa in Sharjah valid from 16 to 18 October 2026, an eight-page "Anniversary Celebration" for Al Warqa 1 in Dubai from 2 to 4 October, a four-page "Mega Weekend Bonanza" for Karama in Dubai for the same dates, and a one-page "Fresh Deals" for Al Warqa 1 on 4 October. There is also a two-page "Electro Fest" electronics flyer valid from 6 to 21 October.
Editions listed on AdsSOS usually start on a Friday, which fits the pattern of weekend-length promotions of two to four days. We found no official Al Madina statement of a release day, so this is a description of our own data and not a company schedule. Because the flyers are tied to individual branches, check that the branch named on the edition is the one you plan to visit.
The Al Madina Group website we opened describes a network of more than 100 hypermarkets across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and India and names two retail brands, Al Madina Hypermarket and Mango Hypermarket. The part of the page we could read did not mention a loyalty card, an app or digital coupons, and our searches did not surface one, so we do not describe any. Shoppers who see a points or coupon offer in a branch should ask for the terms in writing, because we cannot confirm which branches take part.
We could not find a published Al Madina price-match policy or returns page. The general UAE position, according to a consumer-rights guide, is that a seller must repair, replace or refund a defective product free of charge and that a no-refund sign does not override that duty. For groceries, that translates into reporting spoiled or damaged items straight away with the receipt.
Gulf News reports that prices shown to consumers in the UAE must include VAT, so the shelf and flyer price is the figure that should be charged. If the till total differs from the leaflet for a product whose edition is still valid, raise it with the cashier before leaving.
Opening hours differ by branch and we did not find an official chain-wide timetable. A Bayut list of Abu Dhabi supermarkets places Al Madina branches in Musaffah, Al Raha and Al Mafraq and mentions a 24-hour branch in Mohammed Bin Zayed City; since that is a listing and not an official page, confirm the hours with the branch. We found no official statement on markdowns or clearance.
For the weekend, reports in December 2021 said federal government offices moved to a Friday-afternoon-to-Sunday weekend from 1 January 2022 and did not address private retailers.
A 2019 press release on the group's new headquarters at Dubai Industrial City said Al Madina Group has operated in the UAE since 1971 and that its distribution centre supplies fast-moving consumer goods to over 100 Al Madina Hypermarket branches in the UAE. The group's own site gives the same 100-plus figure but across four countries, and a Gulf News feature cited a lower figure of 72 outlets, so branch counts depend on the source and date; we do not give a single number. In April 2019 the group opened the Al Madina Shopping Center in Muwaileh, Sharjah, with more than 100,000 square feet of retail space, and a 2021 trade report described the opening of a Mango Hypermarket in Jebel Ali Industrial Area. We found no verified private-label brand list.
Al Madina is a genuine hypermarket operator, so it fits the hypermarkets and grocery chains in the UAE hub. Shoppers comparing weekend flyers often look at the Lulu Hypermarket promotion leaflet this week, the Grand Hypermarket offers this week and the Al Safeer Hypermarket offers this week. The full list is on the United Arab Emirates promotion leaflets this week page.
