ExpiredThe current Al Maya promotion leaflet is valid from 21 October 2026 until 3 November 2026. New editions usually start on a Wednesday.
The current edition has 8 pages.
Recent AdsSOS editions run from one to two weeks, for example 21 October to 3 November 2026.
Its own blog describes earning points per dirham spent and redeeming them as discounts; the point value and tiers are not given.
A post on its website says 1982, starting with one store in Dubai.
Al Maya's editions on AdsSOS combine one- and two-week campaigns. The current edition is an eight-page booklet valid from 21 October to 3 November 2026, a fortnight. Before that came a 16-page "Winter Is Coming" booklet valid from 14 to 20 October, a Dubai-specific eight-page "Fortnight Promotion" valid from 7 to 20 October, and 16-page weekly booklets running 7 to 13 October and 30 September to 6 October.
Editions listed on AdsSOS usually start on a Wednesday. We found no official Al Maya statement of a fixed release day, so treat that as a pattern in our own data. The mix of seven-day and fourteen-day validity means two editions may overlap, so a product can appear in a regional fortnight booklet and in a national weekly one with different end dates. Al Maya's blog describes its weekly deals as covering produce, dairy and pantry staples, as well as festive and seasonal promotions.
Al Maya's own blog describes a loyalty programme in which shoppers earn points on every dirham spent and redeem them as discounts on later purchases, with members sometimes offered early access to sales. The same blog points shoppers to the Al Maya website and app for current deals and suggests turning on app notifications. These are company marketing pages and do not give the point value, tiers or the sign-up steps, so confirm them at the till or in the app before relying on a specific benefit. The blog also suggests cashback apps and rewards credit cards, which are third-party tools and not Al Maya features.
We did not find a published Al Maya price-match policy or returns page. A consumer-rights guide says that under UAE rules a seller must repair, replace or refund a defective product at no charge and that a no-refund sign does not override it, but a change of mind carries no automatic refund right; any wider return window is the shop's choice.
Gulf News reports that prices shown to UAE consumers must include VAT. A leaflet price at Al Maya is therefore the tax-inclusive figure, and points redemption is a separate matter governed by the programme terms.
We found no official chain-wide opening hours. The Al Maya blog mentions home delivery, including express and scheduled options, which is useful on days when you cannot visit a branch, though the delivery areas and fees were not stated. We found nothing official on markdown practices.
Federal government offices moved to a Friday-afternoon-to-Sunday weekend from 1 January 2022, according to reports at the time, which did not address private retailers, so branch hours around Friday should be checked locally.
According to a post on its own site, Al Maya Group was founded in 1982 by Dr. M.A. Yusuff, starting with a single store in Dubai, and says it now has more than 70 locations across the UAE. The group's blog also refers to Al Maya supermarkets in Abu Dhabi. These figures are company statements and we could not check them against an independent report, so we treat them as the company's description. The blog's wording is promotional, so we have kept to its plain statements. We found no verified private-label list.
Al Maya is a supermarket and grocery chain and sits within the hypermarkets and grocery chains in the UAE hub. Every retailer we list is on the United Arab Emirates promotion leaflets this week page.
