The IKEA pages on AdsSOS carry the title "IKEA Catalogue 2026 > Australia Preview Online" and are short digital editions of 5 pages each. The two editions we hold run in consecutive monthly blocks: 21 September to 21 October 2026, and 22 October to 22 November 2026. So the current sheet changes on the 22nd of the month, not on a fixed weekday, and it is a month-long reference rather than a weekly flyer. We have not found an official IKEA Australia statement about a catalogue release day, so we describe only the dates on the editions we hold. See the Australia catalogues and specials hub for other current sheets.
IKEA Family is the retailer's membership scheme. The IKEA Australia page says joining is free, and that members get offers, rewards, instant benefits, events and protection. The same page says you collect 1 point for every $5 spent, or for simply logging in, and that points unlock savings on home furnishings from 65 points for $5 off. Independent coverage from Finder also reports a welcome voucher for new members that needs a minimum spend, and says reward keys expire, while Point Hacks lists member pricing on selected furniture and a free damage assurance called Oops-assurance for items that break in transport or assembly. IKEA changes member benefits regularly, so confirm the current terms on the IKEA Australia site before relying on any of them.
The official IKEA Australia returns article sets out two windows:
Proof of purchase is required, and conditions and exclusions apply to all returns. Depending on the assessed condition of the product, you receive either a full refund to the original payment method or an IKEA Returns Card. The 60-day figure follows a tightening of the policy reported in April 2026, when the open-product window was shortened, so older articles quoting a full year for assembled items may be out of date. We found no published price-matching policy on the pages we reviewed, so we make no claim on that. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law for faulty goods apply independently of store policy.
Opening hours are set by store, and IKEA shows them on each store page. As an example, the Springvale store in Victoria lists store hours of 10am to 9pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 7pm on Sunday, with click and collect open from 8am to 9pm Monday to Saturday and 8am to 7pm on Sunday, and the restaurant open from 9:30am. The page also lists a buy-back scheme for pre-loved IKEA furniture, spare parts ordering and express returns.
Public holidays can change these hours. An industry guide to 2025 trading reported that Good Friday and Christmas Day are restricted trading days in Victoria, that Anzac Day is restricted there until 1pm, and that the ACT has no Anzac Day restrictions. Check your own store page before travelling on a holiday. If you are furnishing a whole home, compare with Amart Furniture catalogue this week for sofas and beds, and with Mitre 10 specials this week or Bunnings Warehouse catalogue for tools and garden items. All of these sit in the Australian home and garden catalogues hub.
IKEA sells home furnishings in Australia through large stores, online ordering and click and collect. The Springvale store sits at 917 Princes Highway and was described by SmartCompany in 2011 as the second Melbourne location, alongside an earlier store at Richmond. We could not verify the current national store count or the Australian corporate structure from official pages, so we give neither. The Springvale page lists design and planning consultations and assembly services for an extra fee.
