ExpiredYes. A Ministry of Commerce notice says the shelf price must already include VAT and match the final invoice; VAT complaints can go to the tax authority call centre on 19993.
Not on the basis of a 'no returns' sign. Gulf News reported in September 2018 that the commerce ministry banned that wording and requires shops to take back defective or non-compliant goods and refund the customer.
Editions of Nesto listed on AdsSOS usually start on a Wednesday, though individual editions and branch-specific leaflets run to different dates.
Nesto does not publish a release day that we could verify; the ClicFlyer page for Nesto in Riyadh says only that offers follow the retailer's promo cycle. Editions listed on AdsSOS for Nesto usually start on a Wednesday, and the large October editions confirm it.
Three regional editions ran from 7 to 13 October 2026: one for Sanaya, one for Malaz, Al Kharj and Buraydah, and one for Aziziah and Al Bat'ha. They run to 42, 44 and 47 pages respectively. A shorter eight-page edition for Riyadh, Al Kharj and Al Qassim covered 4 to 6 October 2026, and a 29-page National Day edition for Sanaya 2 covered 22 to 26 September 2026. Because the leaflet is split by area, pick the version that names your district. Treat the dates on each edition as the authority: AdsSOS lists the leaflet as scanned, so it does not confirm that any item is still in stock.
No loyalty programme, points scheme or app for Nesto appeared in the sources we reviewed, and we will not guess at one. Some Saudi chains do publish theirs: Al Othaim Markets, for instance, runs Iktissab, which a ksaexpats.com guide dates to 2004. Because member-only editions can exist without a public description, check the leaflet text and ask at the branch whether a card or app applies to the offers you want.
Property Finder, writing about Sharjah, describes an Inaam app that gives points redeemable for vouchers at Nesto branches. That is a UAE source, and we found no Saudi page confirming that the same scheme applies in the kingdom, so do not assume it does. The ClicFlyer page for Riyadh mentions no Nesto app or loyalty programme.
Nothing we located sets out a price-match rule, coupon terms or a return period for Nesto, and we leave those topics open rather than assume. The national baseline is public: according to Gulf News (15 September 2018) the Ministry of Commerce forbade "no returns, no exchange" notices from 15 November 2018 and requires shops to accept defective or non-compliant goods and refund the buyer. Anything beyond that, such as exchanges of items that are simply unwanted, depends on the individual retailer.
One consumer protection applies to every till. The Ministry of Commerce says the price on the shelf has to include VAT and cannot be exceeded on the invoice, and it describes how to file a violation report when the two differ. Complaints about VAT added at checkout go to the tax authority's call centre, number 19993 in the ministry's notice. The general rate is 15%, applied since 1 July 2020, according to Stripe.
Nesto hours were not published in anything we could open, so confirm them with the branch. For the wider rules, The New Arab reported on 17 July 2019 that the cabinet let some shops and restaurants stay open all day for a fee, while a ministry official stressed that trading during prayer times and earlier prayer decisions were untouched. On markdowns, no official Nesto statement was found, which is why this page does not describe any clearance routine.
Nesto is a hypermarket and supermarket group founded in 2004 by K. P. Basheer as the retail arm of Western International Group, headquartered in Sharjah, according to Wikipedia. It operates in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and India, and says it has more than 140 outlets as of March 2026. Its 50th GCC outlet opened in Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia, in April 2017. A 2016 Arab News item named Riyadh outlets including Azizia, Malaz and Batha, and a Philippine Embassy release placed a main branch at Gardenia Mall in Al Aziziyah. Those are dated, so confirm any branch before visiting. We found no verified private-label list.
It is filed under Hypermarkets in Saudi Arabia, where you can compare it with Hyper Panda Offers this week and Lulu Offers this week. The Saudi Arabia Offers this week page lists the other retailers carried for the kingdom.
