What counts as auto, sports and leisure here

This hub is a grab bag, and we'd rather say so up front. It covers the stores people visit for the weekend, not the weekly grocery run: a car-parts chain, two sporting goods retailers, two craft chains, two office supply giants and a pet store. What ties them together is the weekly ad. Each one posts a circular, and shoppers search for it by name, usually with a phrase like weekly ad, sales ad or current ad.

If you came for food, head to the supermarkets hub instead. If you're after the bargain bins, the discount and general merchandise hub is the better stop. For the full picture of how these circulars work across the country, start at the United States weekly ad overview.

Sporting goods: two very different shops

Dunham's and Big 5 both sell outdoor and team gear, but they run on different habits. Dunham's Sports weekly ad shoppers will find a Michigan-rooted chain, founded in 1937 and headquartered in Troy. Dunham's doesn't appear to run a single points card. Instead, its official pages describe group discount cards for companies, groups, teams and leagues, sportsmen's clubs and military members. If you coach a team, that's worth asking about.

Out west, the Big 5 Sporting Goods ad is one of the most searched circulars in this hub, and shoppers often add "near me" because the sale items can vary by location. Know the return rules before you buy: a refund needs the receipt plus photo ID, no receipt means store credit, and firearms and ammunition are final sale. Big 5 also allows one promo code or coupon per customer, with no combining of coded offers. So pick the best coupon, not the most coupons.

Auto parts: loyalty is the story

For car owners, Advance Auto Parts weekly ad is the main entry in this hub. Searches show people also want the sales flyer and the current ad. Advance launched a free-to-join program called Advance Rewards in early February 2026, replacing Speed Perks, and it has tiers that earn points faster as you spend more in a year. Advance also says it matches most direct competitors' published prices. Online-only sellers and membership prices are excluded, and a match can't be stacked with other discounts. In other words, the match is a safety net, not a coupon booster.

One caution from the suggestions we saw: people also type in rival chains when looking for an auto parts ad. This site only carries what's in this hub, so check the store's own page if your usual shop isn't listed.

Craft stores: Sunday matters

Crafters compare two names. Hobby Lobby weekly ad comes with a built-in schedule note: every store is closed on Sundays. That's the reason "hobby lobby hours sunday" shows up so often in searches. The family-owned company, based in Oklahoma City, ran 1,057 stores in 2025. Returns are accepted for 90 days, smaller online orders can go back to any store with the invoice, and opened or used items aren't taken back.

The Michaels weekly ad dates are a regular question, along with coupon and yarn searches. Michaels started in Dallas in 1973, is now headquartered in Irving, Texas, and Apollo Global Management agreed to acquire it in March 2021. Its value-info page says it price matches several retailers, though we couldn't see the terms, so ask at the register before you rely on it.

Office supplies: Staples and Office Depot

Back-to-school and home-office season drives most traffic here. Staples Easy Rewards program is the chain's points program. On returns, Staples' own help center gives technology and furniture a 14-day window, while office supplies can go back at any time.

Office Depot weekly ad preview searches are common, and so is "office max weekly ad", because the two merged on November 5, 2013. Office Depot was founded in October 1986 in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida, is based in Boca Raton, and went private under Atlas Holdings in December 2025. If you see OfficeMax in the search box, you're in the right place.

Pet supplies: monthly and weekly

Pet Supplies Plus sales ad shows up in both weekly and monthly phrasing, so look at the dates on the circular you're reading. The chain started in June 1988 in Redford, Michigan, and it announced a points-based rewards program in 2021. As of May 2023 it had more than 720 stores in 36 states.

How to use these ads without wasting a trip

Not sure whether a circular is still current? Match the dates on the ad to today's date, and if it's close to a holiday, call your store. Hours change around Thanksgiving and Christmas.
