Lulu Promotion Leaflet This Week: publication rhythm and schedule

Lulu splits its main UAE promotion by region. The Lulu Savers edition exists in two versions, one for Abu Dhabi and Al Ain with 45 pages and one for Dubai and the Northern Emirates with 55 pages, and both run from 16 to 25 October 2026. Layered on top are themed editions: Happiness Week for Dubai and the Northern Emirates (16 to 31 October 2026, five pages), Clean Home & Happy Deals (20 October to 2 November 2026, four pages) and Baby Gear Deals (7 to 25 October 2026, four pages).

So the validity windows range from about ten days to nearly three weeks, rather than a strict seven-day week. We found no official statement about the release day or hour, and our listing data shows no dominant start weekday for this particular entry, so rely on the dates printed on each edition and choose the regional version that matches where you live. The current set is on the Lulu offers page this week.

How to save: loyalty card and app

Lulu operates a customer programme called Happiness in several markets. Times of Oman, reporting on its November 2024 launch in Oman, said shoppers register, earn points on every transaction, get extra points on selected Happiness products, and can redeem points at all Lulu outlets, with the Lulu Shopping app used to manage points, vouchers and receipts. A UAE leaflet is titled Happiness Week, but we did not find a UAE-specific Happiness page, earning rate or expiry rule that we could open, so check the app or a store before assuming the Omani terms apply.

One Gulf News supermarket guide, last updated in December 2019, did not mention a Lulu loyalty scheme. It did say that Lulu could be ordered from online through its website or its Apple and Android apps, with free delivery above Dh50, but that detail is old and should be checked.

Price matching, returns and coupon rules

We found no published Lulu UAE price-matching policy, and the returns details we could find referred to other countries rather than the UAE, so we do not state a return window. What applies everywhere in the UAE is the Consumer Protection Law, Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 as amended. Khaleej Times reports that a defective product entitles the buyer to a replacement, a repair or a full refund, and that no-returns notices cannot override this. The Ministry of Economy lists 800 1222 as its unified consumer protection number.

The same 2019 guide gave 600 540048 as Lulu's contact number. Keep the receipt and the edition dates of the leaflet if you want to raise a price difference at the till.

Smart shopping: hours and markdown habits

In June 2020 Khaleej Times reported that Lulu hypermarkets and supermarkets across the UAE were returning to regular hours of 8am to midnight after pandemic-era changes. That is a historical figure, not a current timetable, and individual branches and Ramadan schedules can differ, so verify before a late trip. We found no official statement on markdown or clearance routines.

The regional split matters for planning: a 55-page Dubai and Northern Emirates edition and a 45-page Abu Dhabi and Al Ain edition cover the same dates but are separate documents, so a product in one may not be in the other.

About Lulu in the United Arab Emirates

Lulu is run by the group founded in 1974 by Yusuffali M.A., and Gulf Times reported in October 2024 that it had grown from one store in Abu Dhabi into a pan-GCC network. Ahead of its listing on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, it reported 240 stores as of August 2024: 116 hypermarkets, 102 express stores and 22 mini markets, with 103 of them in the UAE. The report also said it operated about 21 distribution centres in the GCC and sourced products from 85 countries. These figures are from 2024, so they are not necessarily today's counts.
