The current Sharjah Co-operative Society promotion leaflet is valid from 17 October 2026 until 25 October 2026.
The current edition has 48 pages.
The edition listed on AdsSOS runs from 17 to 25 October 2026 and has 48 pages.
A 2022 Thenews.coop profile says the roughly 24,000 member shareholders receive a share of the society's surplus and 10% cash back on purchases. Confirm current terms with the society.
The society's website offers an online shop with delivery stated for Sharjah, Ajman and Dubai areas, and Thenews.coop says orders can also be placed by WhatsApp with delivery or pickup.
The edition we currently hold is "Sharjah Co-operative Society offers (17 Oct - 25 Oct, 2026)", valid 17 to 25 October 2026 over 48 pages. That is a nine-day window. Our data does not give a typical start weekday, and the society's homepage, which we opened, shows no leaflet download or release statement, so the printed dates remain the guide.
The homepage does promote an "In store promotion" section and a set of top-selling categories, including fresh food, fruit and vegetables, bakery and beverages, in its online shop at sharjahcoop.ae. In other words, the society publishes offers both as a catalogue and through its web store, and the leaflet on AdsSOS is best used to preview what is on promotion before ordering or visiting.
A cooperative's saving mechanism is membership. A 2022 profile published by the cooperative news service Thenews.coop reports that the society, set up by ministerial decree in 1977, is owned by about 24,000 member shareholders, who receive a share of the surplus and 10% cash back on their purchases. The same article says about 165,000 customers shop there, including owners. Those are 2022 figures and the terms may have moved, so confirm the current scheme at the customer desk.
An earlier Khaleej Times feature from 2012 described a card issued with Sharjah Islamic Bank that moved annual profit and purchase dividends to the member's account. We treat that as history rather than current practice. The homepage today offers a "Login or Register" option for its online store but describes no benefits, and we did not find an app listed.
For a private-sector comparison, see the Carrefour weekly offers page.
We could not open a published price match, return or coupon policy on the society's site. National rules fill the gap. Under the UAE consumer protection framework, as summarised by a business-setup consultancy, retail outlets must display their consumer-rights and return policy in store, and defective goods carry a right to replacement, repair or refund. Khaleej Times, reporting Ministry of Economy guidance, adds that displayed prices are final and that fines for violators can reach Dh2 million.
Online orders are covered as well. The consultancy summary says the law applies to e-commerce sellers, so purchases from the society's web store, which the Thenews.coop profile says can also be placed by WhatsApp with delivery or in-store pickup, fall under the same protections. The homepage states delivery to Sharjah, Ajman and Dubai areas, though without fees or time slots in the text we read.
No branch hours were available on the pages we opened, and we found nothing official about clearance habits. What we can say concerns the calendar. Sharjah's government moved to a Monday to Thursday working week with Friday, Saturday and Sunday off from 1 January 2022, and a UAE government page updated in August 2026 still lists that three-day weekend for Sharjah. The coverage does not address shop hours.
The society's general manager said in 2012 that it runs promotions and discounts all year, especially around Ramadan and Eid.
Founded in 1977, the society began as a small supermarket in Maysaloun, according to the 2012 Khaleej Times feature, and described itself then as the UAE's earliest cooperative. By 2022 it reported 48 retail outlets in Sharjah plus 16 branches in central jails, a mobile shop named MobiCoop for remote areas, about 2,000 jobs, and a 25% share of retail in Sharjah city. Thenews.coop also lists restaurants, cafes and healthcare centres inside its shopping centres, and the Rahmania Mall Hypermarket launched in April 2021.
Within the wider category, the society sits alongside private chains such as Lulu weekly promotions, and you can explore the hypermarkets in the UAE or return to the UAE catalogue hub to compare. A second spelling of the society also appears on AdsSOS; this page covers the listing that carries the sharjahcoop.ae website.
