The current Aldi catalogue is valid from 21 October 2026 until 27 October 2026.
The current edition has 24 pages.
The Aldi Australia homepage says Special Buys arrive in stores every Wednesday and Saturday.
Aldi's returns page says you can return everyday items or Special Buys for a refund or replacement within 60 days, in store, with proof of purchase requested.
We found only a third-party site saying it does not and no official policy, so it is unconfirmed.
Trading hours vary by store and state. Check the store locator, especially near public holidays.
We found no Australian points scheme on the pages we read, but have no official statement ruling one out.
Wikipedia lists 613 stores and 8 warehouses as of October 2026, with none in Tasmania or the Northern Territory as of 2024.
Aldi is the supermarket where the middle aisle is the main event. According to the Aldi Australia homepage, Special Buys arrive in stores every Wednesday and Saturday, and the listings we saw ran 24 to 31 October. That is the part of the catalogue people really chase: pool supplies, pet items, toys and kids' sandals showed up on the homepage when we looked. A 2024-era report in search results also says Special Buys are in store on Wednesdays and Saturdays, so the rhythm looks steady.
On AdsSOS we hold two editions. One is a 24-page catalogue valid Wednesday 21 October to Tuesday 27 October 2026. The other is a 20-page catalogue for the following week, running Wednesday 28 October to Tuesday 3 November 2026, and its link is labelled WA. Because that link is labelled WA, check the cover for your own state before you rely on it.
The homepage calls its page This Week's Catalogue, and says it shows the everyday range and the new Special Buys. People search aldi catalogue this week, aldi catalogue special buys and aldi specials this week Wednesday, which tells you the Wednesday catalogue is the one in demand. Open the PDF first thing, then decide if a Saturday drop is worth a second trip.
Remember that Special Buys are limited-time stock. ChannelNews reported on 24 August 2026 that Aldi was cutting its middle-aisle Special Buy inventory by roughly 20 per cent, with branded lines hit hardest, so do not expect everything to be on the shelf by the weekend.
Aldi searches around rewards mostly return other countries. We could not find any Australian points program on the pages we opened, and Wikipedia does not mention one, but we have no official statement that there is none, so we will not claim it. What the homepage does promote is a DoorDash offer for first orders, with fees and terms applying, and an Aldi gift card.
The official returns page, as it appears in search, says you can return an everyday grocery item or a Special Buy for a refund or replacement within 60 days if you are not completely satisfied. Returns are made in store and the original receipt is requested. For Special Buys the packaging is ideal but the item is still returnable. Your Australian Consumer Law rights apply on top. For fuel-powered items, Aldi asks that you remove added petrol or oil before returning them.
On price matching, we found one third-party site saying Aldi does not price match and nothing official, so there is no confirmed policy to quote.
Opening times depend on the store and the state. In Victoria, Business Victoria lists Good Friday, Christmas Day and Anzac Day until 1pm as restricted trading days when large shops cannot open. In South Australia, SafeWork SA guidance as seen in search says metropolitan shops may open from 9am on Sundays, and public holidays are closed days in the metro shopping district. Searches like aldi opening hours sunday near me and aldi opening hours public holiday show how much this matters around long weekends, so use the store locator for the day you plan to go.
Aldi opened its first Australian store in Sydney in 2001. Wikipedia lists 613 stores and 8 warehouses as of October 2026, up from 540 stores in August 2019. As of 2024 there was no Aldi in Tasmania or the Northern Territory. The Australian stores operate under Aldi Süd, which the article says is owned by three private family foundations. Most items on the shelf are exclusive private label, and most stores now sell alcohol, according to the same article. ChannelNews reports that net profit for the year to December 2025 fell from A$417 million to A$337.4 million on revenue of A$13.94 billion.
Aldi is often held up against the two big chains. Open Woolworths weekly specials and Coles specials this week in separate tabs, and look at independents such as IGA supermarket specials if you are in a country town. The supermarkets catalogue hub is the full list, and the Australian catalogues index covers the rest. We hold no price data, so check the printed tickets yourself.
