5 days leftThe current Foodworks catalogue is valid from 21 October 2026 until 27 October 2026. New editions usually start on a Wednesday.
The current edition has 18 pages.
Store specials pages show a Wednesday to Tuesday promotion window, and AdsSOS editions for 21 to 27 October 2026 follow that pattern.
It has a Price Promise: red-ticket products are matched to identical competitor products (pro-rata for different pack sizes), excluding promotional prices, reduced-to-clear, multi-buys, damaged and clearance items.
Hours are set per store; for example Nuriootpa lists 8am-8pm, Barham 8am-6pm and Tinana 6am-7pm on public holidays (October 2026).
Foodworks specials follow a Wednesday to Tuesday rhythm. Individual Foodworks store specials pages show a weekly promotion window, for example Wednesday 15 July to Tuesday 21 July with a link to the catalogue, and the editions listed on AdsSOS follow the same pattern. The latest examples are valid from Wednesday 21 to Tuesday 27 October 2026 and come in several versions: a 13-page Victorian catalogue, and 18-page Local, 33-page and 38-page Supermarket versions for New South Wales. Editions listed on AdsSOS usually start on a Wednesday, which agrees with the official store pages. Because Foodworks stores are run by individual owners, the pages are published per store, so the version relevant to you depends on your state and local shop. We found no official statement of a publication hour.
We could not find a published Foodworks loyalty card or shopping app in the official pages we searched in October 2026, so we do not describe one. The retailer does run a Price Promise, covered in the next section. Foodworks also operates an online shopping site, and individual stores publish their own specials pages that show the weekly promotion window and link to the current catalogue. If you want a rewards scheme and cannot find one at your local store, ask at the counter, because store owners set many of their own practices.
The official Foodworks Price Promise page explains the chain's version of price matching. Products marked with the red Price Promise ticket in store are the ones that qualify. Matching applies to identical comparison products judged by pack size and variant, and where the pack size is different, the price is matched on a pro-rata basis. Foodworks says it does not match against promotional prices, reduced-to-clear items, multi-buys, damaged goods or clearance products from competitors.
We did not find a chain-wide returns policy in the pages we checked. The FAQ pages on individual store sites and the terms and conditions are the places to look, and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply to faulty goods. Because stores are independently run, confirm any refund or coupon arrangement with the store before you rely on it.
Hours are set by each store and some stores publish public holiday hours. In October 2026 the official store pages listed Nuriootpa in South Australia as open 7am to 8pm on weekdays and 8am to 8pm on weekends and public holidays, Barham in New South Wales as open 8am to 6pm on public holidays, and Tinana in Queensland as open 6am to 7pm on public holidays. Trading rules for public holidays vary by state and territory, so check your store page. Foodworks says in its Price Promise that it excludes reduced-to-clear products from matching, which shows that such items exist, but we found no official statement about when reductions are made.
Foodworks is an independent supermarket banner. Wikipedia says it is run by the independent group Australian United Retailers and describes it as Australia's second-largest independent supermarket retailing group behind Metcash. Wikipedia reports 332 stores in an infobox for 2025 while its text says more than 400 stores trade under the brand, so the store count is uncertain and we do not give a firm number. A May 2022 Metcash announcement said Metcash would remain the preferred supplier to the Australian United Retailers network for a further five years from 1 July 2022; we did not confirm whether that has since changed.
Foodworks is listed under Australia supermarkets catalogues on AdsSOS. Shoppers who compare independent grocers can also read the IGA catalogue this week page and the Foodland catalogue this week page. The Foodworks catalogue this week page lists each state edition with its dates, and the Australia catalogues and specials hub covers the other retailers we track.
