Walmart Flyer This Week

Walmart Flyer This Week: publication rhythm and schedule

Walmart Canada is a general merchandise retailer with grocery, pharmacy and vision services, not a pure supermarket, although the feed behind this page places it under supermarkets. If you want the grocery-focused picture, the Supermarkets flyers in Canada hub groups the chains that are.

Editions listed on AdsSOS usually start on a Thursday. The main weekly flyer we hold began on 15 October 2026 and runs to 21 October 2026 in 21 pages, which is a Thursday-to-Wednesday week. The next one should follow the same pattern, but check the validity dates printed on the edition. Walmart also issues themed booklets that run much longer than a week. Current examples are a Toy shop flyer valid from 15 October to 23 December 2026 in 57 pages, a Diwali flyer from 15 October to 11 November 2026, a Gaming and entertainment guide from 15 October to 28 October 2026, and a one-page Black Friday advice sheet from 20 October to 27 November 2026.

We could not open the official flyer page, which sits behind a bot-verification prompt, so we cannot quote an official release hour.

How to save: loyalty card and app

We could not find a Walmart Canada loyalty scheme on the pages we were able to open. The corporate About Us page does not mention one, and the shopper-facing help pages were blocked from us. We therefore make no claim for or against a points program. Check the Walmart app or the help centre on walmart.ca for current offers before assuming either.

What we can say is that the retailer publishes its offers online as well as on paper. The Walmart.ca site carries a flyer section, and the flyer footers we saw reference the retailer's own advertising policy.

Price matching, returns and coupon rules

Price matching has changed over the years. CTV News reported in September 2020 that Walmart Canada was ending its price-match program. A later search snippet of the walmart.ca pricing help article describes a narrower rule: an in-store price can be matched to the price advertised for an identical, in-stock item on Walmart.ca, provided the customer tells the associate. We could not open that article ourselves, so confirm it at the customer service desk. Do not assume that a competitor's flyer will be matched.

For returns, a snippet of the official help article says most items bought in store or on Walmart.ca can be returned or exchanged within 90 days with proof of purchase, with exceptions. It also says that items shipped from outside Canada have a 30-day window and marketplace items from third-party sellers follow separate rules. The same help centre is described as promising satisfaction on fresh produce, meat and seafood bought in store. Because we could not read the full terms, check the current wording before a return.

Smart shopping: hours and markdown habits

Opening hours differ by store and province, and provincial rules on Sunday and holiday trading also differ across Canada. We have not verified those rules, so use the store locator on walmart.ca for your own location. We found no official statement about clearance or markdown routines, so we do not describe any.

If you shop across several chains, compare the Princess Auto flyer this week for tools and workshop supplies, the London Drugs flyer this week for pharmacy and electronics, and the Leon's flyer this week for furniture and appliances. The Canada flyers hub lists every retailer we cover.

About Walmart in Canada

According to Walmart Canada's corporate site, the company began operating in Canada in 1994. It now reports more than 400 stores and over 100,000 associates nationwide, with a Store Support Centre in Mississauga, Ontario. Stores offer groceries and general goods, and many include pharmacies and vision centres. Our listing for the retailer is at Walmart flyers. We did not verify the names of private-label brands on the pages we could open, so we do not list them here.
