The current Bunnings Warehouse mailer is valid from 25 August 2025 until 31 December 2026.
The current edition has 76 pages.
A lower competitor price on the same in-stock item, including GST and delivery, is beaten by 15 percent, with exclusions such as Marketplace items, trade quotes, liquidations and commercial quantities.
The pages we saw say you cover postage if you cannot return the item to your local store; Bunnings covers the cost for damaged or faulty items.
Wesfarmers has owned Bunnings since 1994, according to Wikipedia.
We found no official statement from Bunnings New Zealand about when its Mailer is released, so we give no release day. The only edition currently held on AdsSOS is a 76-page edition valid from 25 August 2025 to 31 December 2026, which is a long-running catalogue rather than a weekly sheet. The Bunnings Warehouse Mailer this week is therefore best used as a reference for ranges, while shorter promotions may be published elsewhere that we have not captured. Always read the validity dates on the cover and compare them with the date you plan to shop.
In the pages we searched in October 2026 we did not find a Bunnings New Zealand loyalty card or points programme, and we do not describe one. The Bunnings price guarantee, covered below, is the formal saving mechanism we could verify. It applies to eligible products bought in store or online, and it excludes items sold by third-party sellers on Bunnings Marketplace.
Bunnings New Zealand publishes a price guarantee page. According to the summary of that page we saw, if a competitor's lower price, including GST and delivery, applies to the same item that is in stock, Bunnings beats it by 15 percent. Consumer NZ's guide to price guarantees also lists Bunnings at 15 percent, and several third-party blogs still quote 10 percent, which appears to describe the Australian policy. The guarantee excludes Marketplace items from third-party sellers, trade quotes, stock liquidations, commercial quantities and items sold by other businesses in the Bunnings Group. For own-brand products, the competing product must be like for like.
In store, you show a team member the competitor's price, for example a printed catalogue or a photo or screenshot from the competitor's website. For online orders, the instructions say to contact the online enquiries team at the address listed on the page so that the guarantee can be applied before you place the order.
On returns, the pages we saw cover only online basics. If you cannot take a change-of-mind item back to your local store, you pay the postage or delivery cost of sending it back. If the item is damaged or faulty, Bunnings covers the return cost, and refunds go to the account used for the original purchase. We did not verify a time limit for returns, so we state none.
Under the Shop Trading Hours Act 1990, most New Zealand shops must close on Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Christmas Day and until 1 pm on Anzac Day, according to Employment New Zealand. Shops whose sole or principal business is plants or garden supplies may open on Easter Sunday, and councils can adopt a local Easter Sunday policy. Whether a particular Bunnings store trades on a restricted day depends on those rules, so check the store page first. Opening hours are set store by store, and we found no national timetable. The only markdown-related wording we saw is that stock liquidations are excluded from the price guarantee.
According to Wikipedia, Bunnings is an Australian hardware and garden chain headquartered in Burnley, Victoria, which Wesfarmers has owned since 1994. It had only three New Zealand stores until Wesfarmers bought the Howard Smith Group in August 2001, which brought in the 32-store Benchmark Building Supplies chain; those stores were closed or converted to Bunnings by 2003. After closing seven stores in May 2020 the chain was left with 41 in New Zealand, according to that article, which gives no more recent count.
Compare this with the Mitre 10 Mailer this week, a co-operative of independent stores that also publishes a price guarantee. Both sit in the New Zealand home and garden category, and the New Zealand Mailers hub lists every other retailer we track.
