The current Life Pharmacy mailer is valid from 12 October 2026 until 8 November 2026.
The current edition has 24 pages.
The Life Pharmacy site shows Living Rewards. Green Cross Health says the programme covers its Life Pharmacy and Unichem brands, with points collected by swiping the card at purchase.
Green Cross Health, which says on its website that it represents more than 300 community pharmacies under the Unichem and Life Pharmacy brands.
Employment guidance lists pharmacies among businesses permitted to trade on restricted shop trading days, but individual branches decide, so check first.
The Life Pharmacy New Zealand website links to a Catalogue page and a Sale section, but the pages we could read did not state a release day, an hour of publication or a standard validity length. The edition currently listed on AdsSOS is a 24-page publication valid from Monday 12 October 2026 to Sunday 8 November 2026, so it covers four weeks rather than one. Treat the printed dates on the cover as the authority, since an individual store may also run its own offers.
You can browse the Life Pharmacy Mailer this week on AdsSOS, and compare it with another pharmacy and health retailer, Chemist Warehouse catalogue. The wider New Zealand pharmacies category and the New Zealand catalogues hub list further retailers.
The Life Pharmacy homepage shows a rewards programme called Living Rewards, including a post about redeeming points online. Green Cross Health, the group behind the Life Pharmacy and Unichem brands, states on its rewards page that the Living Rewards programme covers both brands and that members collect points by swiping their card at the time of purchase. Balances and offers are managed through the programme website. Because the programme pages we opened did not explain the earn rate, voucher value or expiry, we do not quote them. A catalogue page from the sister Unichem brand mentions an earn rate, but it is not clear that the same rate applies at Life Pharmacy, so ask in store.
Some individual Life Pharmacy stores also appear in the government SuperGold card offers directory with in-store offers for card holders. Those offers are set by each store and normally cannot be combined with other discounts, so ask your pharmacy before you rely on one.
We could not find a published price match policy, and the returns page address we tried returned a not found error, so we cannot describe the returns window. Medicines and pharmacy-only items are often handled differently from cosmetics and gifts, and for any product that is faulty your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 apply regardless of store policy. For online orders, check the delivery and returns information on the Life Pharmacy site before you buy, and keep your receipt or order confirmation.
The store finder page we opened did not list opening hours, because that detail sits on the individual store locator entries. Hours therefore vary by location, with city malls and community pharmacies likely to differ, and you should check the branch you plan to visit.
On public holidays, New Zealand guidance from the employment.govt.nz site says that almost all shops must close on Christmas Day, Good Friday, Easter Sunday and until 1pm on Anzac Day under the Shop Trading Hours Act 1990. Pharmacies are among the businesses the guidance lists as permitted to trade, which is why some pharmacies stay open on restricted days. That does not mean every branch does, so phone first. We found no official statement about markdown or clearance timing.
Life Pharmacy operates under Green Cross Health. Green Cross Health says on its website that it represents more than 300 community pharmacies under the Unichem and Life Pharmacy brands. A trade report from November 2015 described the Life Pharmacy and Unichem networks as being rebranded and expanded nationally, and counted 76 equity stores and 257 licensees in the wider group at that time, which are older figures than today's. A 2008 media release described Life Pharmacy as then being New Zealand's only listed pharmacy retail group, which is no longer a description of the current structure.
We could not verify a current national store count, a price promise or a returns policy, and this page should be read with that limitation in mind. For a check on a specific store, use the Store Finder on the official website.
