ExpiredGulf Times reported the first outlet on Umm Al Dome Street, Muaither, in 2019. A Waze listing shows Carry Fresh Grocery on Al Kinana Street, Doha, and AdsSOS editions mention Al Rayyan. Confirm the branch by phone.
Check the dates on the latest scan. The most recent edition, Hot Week Deals, ran 15 to 18 October 2026.
Gulf Times named Haneefa Olakara as the founder of the chain in 2019. Current ownership details are not verified.
A Waze directory entry shows 07:00 to 01:00 daily for the Al Kinana Street shop. It is not an official statement, so call before you go.
It is not on the Ministry of Commerce and Industry list of 33 24-hour hypermarket branches published on 28 February 2026.
We could not confirm one from any source we opened.
Carry Fresh Hypermarket is a small Doha grocery chain, and its flyers are small too. The four editions on AdsSOS are two to four pages each: "Hot Week Deals" (15 to 18 October 2026, two pages), "Super Deals" (1 to 4 October, two pages), "Wonder 4 Days Sale" (10 to 13 September, three pages) and "Mega Sale" (3 to 6 September, four pages). Every one ran for four days, and editions listed on AdsSOS usually start on a Thursday, so the natural rhythm is a long weekend sale rather than a seven-day leaflet. The retailer states no release day that we could open, so read the dates printed on each scan.
One caution on branches: the aggregator that supplies the 15 to 18 October edition presents it as an Al Rayyan branch offer, so a flyer may not apply everywhere. For the wider market, see the Qatar hypermarkets offers this week hub, or the national Qatar offers this week overview.
Google Suggest for Qatar returns strings such as "carry fresh hypermarket offers today", "carry fresh hypermarket al nasr", "carry fresh hypermarket muaither" and "carry fresh grocery doha". They tell us shoppers look for two things: the current sale and the nearest branch. The Suggest list is short, which fits a chain with a modest online footprint, and it says nothing about opening times or loyalty cards, so those topics get brief answers below.
The only press report we could open is Gulf Times, dated 3 November 2019. It describes the launch of a new hypermarket chain with an outlet on Umm Al Dome Street in Muaither, and names the founder as Haneefa Olakara, a Kerala-born businessman who has lived in Qatar for about 40 years and who also founded Galaxy Food Centre, Food Palace and Eastern Gate Trading and Marketing. The stated aim was to offer fresh products in a hygienic environment at affordable prices, with departments for a family's everyday needs. The article covers the Muaither shop only.
Beyond that, the evidence is lighter. A Facebook page titled Carry Fresh Hypermarket, Doha exists, and a Waze listing for Carry Fresh Grocery on Al Kinana Street, Doha, shows daily opening from 07:00 to 01:00. That is a directory entry, not a company announcement. A branch count, store sizes and private-label brands are unverified, so this page does not give them.
If you need to shop late, note that Carry Fresh is not among the chains in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry list published on 28 February 2026, which named 33 hypermarket branches trading around the clock: Al Meera (15), Lulu (12), Carrefour (3) and Monoprix (3). Night shoppers can compare the Al Meera Hypermarket offers this week and the Lulu offers this week pages instead.
On Fridays, Ministerial Decision No. 80 of 2025, effective 18 August 2025, tells most commercial establishments to stop for about 90 minutes from the first call to prayer until prayers end. Pharmacies, bakeries, hospitals, hotels, fuel stations and businesses running round-the-clock shifts are exempt. How Carry Fresh applies the rule is unconfirmed, so phone before a Friday trip. A Qatar hours guide also notes that hypermarket timings shift in Ramadan and advises calling ahead because changes can come at short notice.
No Carry Fresh loyalty card, app or digital coupon scheme turned up in our checks. Aggregator listings describe a mix of meat, fish, rice, dairy and groceries, with some electronics and general merchandise, which means one flyer can cover several departments. The practical routine is simple. Compare the printed dates, confirm with the cashier which branch the offer belongs to, and check expiry dates on fresh items such as fish, meat and dairy before they reach the trolley. AdsSOS holds scans only and no price data, so the shelf label is the final word.
No store-level return or price matching policy is published that we could find. Qatar's Consumer Protection Law sets the floor: a Gulf Times commentary on Article 5 explains that where goods are defective or unfit for purpose, the supplier must take them back and refund the price, replace the item, or repair it at its own expense. For perishables, return the item promptly with the receipt and ask for the manager if a refund is declined.
Carry Fresh sits at the neighbourhood end of the hypermarket spectrum, with short flyers and a handful of known branches. For a bigger network, open the Carrefour Qatar offers this week edition and compare the dates beside the Carry Fresh weekend runs. Because its campaigns end on Sundays, a Thursday visit tends to give you the most days to use an offer.
