Qatar Chamber reports that the first Nesto hypermarket in Qatar opened on Wednesday 19 August 2026 in the former Passport Building in Al Gharafa, Doha.
We could not find a published Nesto loyalty programme for Qatar. A 2014 report mentioned a My Nesto programme starting in Saudi Arabia, with other Gulf countries to follow.
Nesto is not among the 33 branches the Ministry of Commerce and Industry listed as 24-hour on 28 February 2026, and we found no standing opening hours for its Doha store.
Nesto is a new name in Qatar, so its Offers history on AdsSOS is short but active. Recent editions include "Magical Figures Deals" valid 15 to 18 October 2026 (16 pages), "Tech Tastic Deals" valid 10 to 25 October (15 pages), "Weekend Rush" valid 8 to 11 October (24 pages), "3 Days Wonder Deals" valid 5 to 7 October and a price-point themed edition valid 1 to 4 October (17 pages). Editions listed on AdsSOS usually start on a Thursday. We could not find an official statement of a release day, so rely on the dates printed on each edition.
The first Nesto hypermarket in Qatar opened on Wednesday 19 August 2026, according to Qatar Chamber. Use the Qatar hypermarkets offers this week hub to compare Nesto with other grocery chains, or return to the Qatar offers this week overview.
We could not find a published Nesto loyalty programme for Qatar. A 2014 Arab News report described a "My Nesto" programme launched in Saudi Arabia and said it would be extended to other Gulf countries including Qatar, but the report is more than a decade old and we found no current page confirming that a card or app operates at the Doha store. Until Nesto publishes terms for Qatar, treat every benefit as unconfirmed and ask at the customer service desk.
No Nesto Qatar price matching rule, coupon scheme or return policy was available to us in published form. The legal baseline in Qatar is the Consumer Protection Law (Law No. 8 of 2008): according to a Gulf Times commentary on Article 5, a supplier must accept the return of a defective or unsuitable item and refund it, replace it or repair it at its own cost. Keep the receipt, and note that AdsSOS holds scans of promotional pages only, with no price data, so confirm any advertised item at the shelf.
We found no standing opening hours for the Al Gharafa store. A Zawya report on the launch said the store would open its doors to customers from 5 pm after the inauguration on 19 August 2026, which describes the first day only. Nesto does not appear on the Ministry of Commerce and Industry list of 24-hour hypermarket branches published on 28 February 2026, which named Al Meera, Lulu, Carrefour and Monoprix; shoppers who need overnight access can compare the Al Meera Hypermarket offers this week and the Carrefour offers this week.
Under Ministerial Decision No. 80 of 2025, effective 18 August 2025, most shops must stop trading for about 90 minutes around Friday prayer, from the first call until the prayers end. Pharmacies, bakeries, hospitals, hotels, fuel stations and businesses operating round-the-clock shifts are exempt. Whether the Nesto store closes during that window is not stated in anything we found, so call ahead on Fridays. We found no official statement on clearance or markdown routines.
Nesto Group is described in Qatar Chamber coverage as a retail group with a growing presence across the GCC and India, selling food, grocery, fashion, household and lifestyle products. Its first Qatar branch is in the former Passport Building in Al Gharafa, Doha, converted over about two years into a three-storey facility; the managing director is named as Jamal Kunjiparambath and the local partner as Ibrahim Al Fadala. Gulf Times described the store as the group's 152nd outlet and said eight more Qatar outlets are planned, while the Qatar Chamber report says more branches will follow. An October 2024 Gulf News report had earlier described a QAR 2 billion plan, a flagship of 180,000 square feet over two floors and ten Qatar hypermarkets by 2026, with a Q2 2025 opening; the actual opening came in August 2026, so treat older plan figures as superseded. The store sells fresh produce, groceries, household essentials, fashion and electronics under one roof.
