No. Here it means Saudia Group of Companies, a Qatari retailer behind Saudia Hypermarket and Kenz stores, started in 1988.
The company homepage advertises 13 stores, and its locator lists branches in Al Rayyan, Al Khor, Muaither, Salwa Road, Al Aziziya, Thumama and Umm Salal Ali among others.
Per the company locator, most hypermarkets open 6:00 am to 1:00 am, Salwa Road 8:00 am to midnight, and Al Rayyan is shown as 24 hours. Confirm by phone.
Yes, Fayda+ Rewards dates from 2019 and the Fayda app on the App Store is published under Saudia Hypermarket.
Search suggestions mention one, and the Fayda app lists a lucky-draw coupon code, but we could not verify a current draw or its rules.
Under Qatar's Consumer Protection Law a supplier must accept the return of a defective item and refund, replace or repair it.
A quick clarification first. SAUDIA Group on this site is not the airline. It is Saudia Group of Companies, a family-run Qatari retailer whose website is branded Saudia Hypermarket. The group's own timeline says the first branch opened in 1988 on Shafi Street in New Rayyan, and its homepage now advertises 13 stores, more than 2,000 staff and over 37 years of service. The chairman and managing director is N. K. Musthafa Abdu, and several family members hold senior roles in the group.
The leaflets we list under this name are shared with its Kenz banner. Recent examples are Fresh Deals (19 to 20 October 2026, two pages), a 14-page 5 Hours Price Storm valid on 18 October, Great Savings Deals for 15 to 17 October (four pages) and 3 Days Price Blast Offers for 12 to 14 October (four pages). Smartphone pre-order sheets for Vivo and OPPO models also appear. Our data shows no stable weekday for the start of an edition, and the group names no release day on its website, so read the dates on each page.
The company's store locator is the most useful page for a visit. It lists Al Rayyan on Al Shafi Street (shown as open 24 hours), Al Khor (5:00 am to 12:30 am), Salwa Road (8:00 am to midnight), and Umm Al Dhoom, Muaither, Al Aziziya, Thumama and Umm Salal Ali, each shown as 6:00 am to 1:00 am. Other entries are a Saudia department store at Plaza Mall (8:00 am to 11:00 pm), mini marts at Al Annabi Street and Old Airport, and a building-materials outlet called Saudia Builders on Al Shafi Street. Searches such as saudia hypermarket thumama make sense because the Thumama store is one of the newest. The Peninsula covered its opening on Umm Al Shuwail Street in April 2024, listing groceries, health and beauty products, fresh fish and butchery, bakery, roastery, home furnishing, perfumes, garments, footwear, toys, stationery and mobile accessories.
These hours are the company's own and can change. The Ministry of Commerce and Industry named 33 round-the-clock hypermarket branches on 28 February 2026, belonging to Al Meera, Lulu, Carrefour and Monoprix, so the Al Rayyan claim is worth a phone call before a midnight trip.
The group's timeline credits the Fayda+ Rewards launch to 2019, and the homepage invites visitors to download an application. The App Store entry for Fayda is published under the seller name Saudia Hypermarket and describes a loyalty app where users earn points, unlock rewards and receive offers. It also lists receipt scanning and a lucky-draw coupon code. Neither source gives an earning rate or an expiry rule, so we publish none. WhatsApp ordering support is promoted on the homepage as well, with a customer-care line for questions about orders, store hours and rewards.
Own brands arrived in 2017, according to the company, and a sweets and bakery unit called Al Majlis dates from 2011. A distribution centre upgrade in 2013 is credited with keeping branches stocked. Newer milestones include the Azeezya store in 2022, Thumama in 2024 and Umm Salal Ali in 2026. Abroad, the group built Kenz Hypermarket in Ajman, UAE, its first venture outside Qatar, which Khaleej Times described at its 2015 launch as a Dh80 million investment. In Doha, the Kenz name appears on the Plaza Mall hypermarket and an Old Airport mini mart.
Decision No. 80 of 2025 has applied since 18 August 2025. Most shops must stop for about 90 minutes around the Friday prayer; pharmacies, bakeries, hotels, fuel stations and businesses that work around the clock in shifts are among the exceptions. How Saudia branches apply it is for each store to confirm. For faulty goods the law is clearer: Gulf Times reports that the Consumer Protection Law lets a buyer return a defective item and obtain a refund, a replacement or a repair at the supplier's cost. We saw no Saudia-specific returns page, so keep receipts and ask the branch manager if a cashier is unsure.
With 13 stores spread over Rayyan, Muaither, Al Khor and Salwa Road, Saudia competes mainly with neighbourhood hypermarkets.
