Your Rewards account needs an email address. Go to Save More, then Digital Coupons, and select clip. Digital coupons can't be doubled or combined with a paper coupon on the same item.
We found no official price match policy. It is a real search question, so ask at the customer service desk of your store.
We did not find a chain-wide holiday schedule on official pages. Hours are shown on each store page, so check yours before the holiday.
It covers perishables from Produce, Floral, Meat, Seafood, Deli and Bakery: a refund plus a replacement if you're unhappy. Our Family brands, alcohol, tobacco and pharmacy items are excluded.
Family Fare shoppers in the Midwest plan their grocery run around a Sunday-to-Saturday ad. Our listing for this week has three pieces. The main Family Fare Ad runs October 18 to 24 and takes up six pages. A 13-page Family Fare Weekly Ad for Iowa covers the same dates. And a four-page True Value ad is valid October 18 through November 14, so it sticks around for a month. Editions of Family Fare listed on AdsSOS usually start on a Sunday. Find them all on the Family Fare weekly ad this week page.
Notice that Iowa gets its own edition. That fits the pattern in the search suggestions, where people add a city to the query ("family fare weekly ad omaha," "family fare weekly ad bismarck nd"). Ad content can differ by region, so pick the one that matches your store.
The question we saw most often in Google Suggest was about rewards, followed closely by digital coupons. Here's what Family Fare's own pages say.
Some of those pages are a few years old, so confirm anything money-sensitive at checkout or in the app.
Using paper manufacturer coupons? The policy page says the coupon has to match the item exactly, and managers keep the final call. For quality, there's a pretty generous promise: the 200% Guarantee. If you're unhappy with a perishable from Produce, Floral, Meat, Seafood, Deli or Bakery, you can return it for a refund plus a replacement. It excludes the Our Family label, Fresh and Finest by Our Family, Finest Reserve by Our Family, alcohol, tobacco and pharmacy items.
No price-match program turned up when we searched. Google Suggest does show "does family fare price match" as a real question, but we did not find an official page that answers it, so ask at the customer service desk.
This is a common worry, and the honest answer is: it depends on the store. Searches like "family fare open thanksgiving," "family fare open on christmas" and "what time does family fare close on christmas eve" are everywhere in Suggest, but we didn't find a chain-wide holiday schedule on official pages. Individual store pages show their own hours, and pharmacies often run shorter days than the grocery floor. Check your store's page a day or two before the holiday. For a Thanksgiving turkey, don't wait until Wednesday night.
Family Fare began in 1966 in Holland, Michigan, when Don Koop bought an existing supermarket, according to Wikipedia. Today the banner is based in Byron Center, Michigan, and Wikipedia lists stores across Michigan, North Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin. The page counted 83 locations as of 2022. SpartanNash has owned the chain since 1999 (Wikipedia). In September 2025, C&S Wholesale Grocers announced it had completed its acquisition of SpartanNash. The press coverage names Family Fare, D&W Fresh Market and Martin's as SpartanNash's supermarket banners before the deal. We didn't find a statement on what C&S plans for the banner, so we won't guess.
If you live where Family Fare competes with bigger names, line up its ad against the Meijer weekly ad this week and the HyVee weekly ad. Out east, there's the Big Y weekly ad. Looking for every grocery option at once? Our supermarket weekly ads hub has them, and the US weekly ads homepage lists the rest.
The suggestion lists also show a lot of interest in gift card balances, grocery delivery, bottle and can returns, and pharmacy hours. The Family Fare site has an online grocery ordering FAQ. For anything tied to your account, such as a card balance or a rewards phone number, use the app or the customer service number on the store page.
