Devland Catalogue This Week

Devland is a wholesaler first: read the catalogue that way

Before the dates, one framing point. Devland Cash and Carry describes itself as a fast-moving consumer goods wholesaler supplying general merchandise and food in bulk to independent traders and commercial users across Southern Africa. Think spaza owners, tuck shops, general dealers and stokvel groups, not only households. So when you open the Devland catalogue, you are looking at bulk lines and trade-friendly packs, and it helps to think in cases and cartons.

Two editions are listed on AdsSOS. Devland Monthly Specials runs from 12 October to 9 November 2026 and has 16 pages. A shorter 4-page Devland Specials sheet covers 15 to 21 October and starts on a Thursday. The site separately mentions Devland Birthday Specials for 15 October, which fits that short run. Because one catalogue is monthly and one is a single week, there is no single weekly rhythm to quote, but editions listed on AdsSOS include a Thursday start.

Devland specials this week and the Citizen Weekly leaflet

The official website has a Monthly Specials page (valid 12 October to 9 November 2026, with a downloadable 16-page PDF), a Citizen Weekly page for the newspaper-style leaflet, and an archive of older leaflets, including a November 2025 monthly sheet. If you typed "devland specials today" or "devland specials this week", the short weekly sheet is the closer match; the monthly catalogue is the one to plan a bigger stock-up around. Store-specific searches such as "devland mitchells plain specials" or "devland welkom catalogue" are common, though we found no sign that each branch prints its own pages, so treat the leaflet as the group sheet.

Want to benchmark? Compare it with the Makro specials this week, the KIT KAT Cash and Carry catalogue and the 1UP Cash and Carry specials. The discount and general merchandise catalogues hub gathers wholesalers and variety chains together.

Devland trading hours: yes, including Sunday

Hours are the biggest search driver, from "what time does devland close today" to "devland trading hours sunday". The footer of devland.co.za lists a simple pattern:

• Monday to Friday: 8am to 5pm.
• Saturday: 8am to 3pm.
• Sundays and public holidays: 8am to 12pm.

The home page also advertises the stores as open seven days a week, including Sundays and public holidays. The store list carries a note: standard trading hours, but some stores may differ, so call ahead if you are travelling far. Whether the public-holiday opening applies at Easter or Christmas is not spelled out, so phone first on those days. The head office number is 011 989 8800.

Where the stores are

The store finder, read on 22 October 2026, shows 23 outlets in six provinces: 11 in Gauteng, 4 in Mpumalanga, 3 in KwaZulu-Natal, 2 in Free State, 2 in North West and 1 in the Eastern Cape. Head office sits at the corner of Klepkas and Piston Road in Devland, Soweto. Branches named Devland include Nelspruit, Welkom, Ermelo, Kokstad, Newcastle, Springs, Vanderbijlpark, Ladysmith, Bethlehem, Carletonville, Honeydew, Klerksdorp, Hazyview and East London. The finder also lists partner stores under other names such as Metro Newtown, Metro Rustenburg and Savemoor Tembisa, which it describes as "outlets and partner stores". One of these, the Newcastle outlet, trades as Impuphu Wholesalers. Wikipedia's list of South African supermarket chains includes Devland, and cites a trade story titled "Devland Cash and Carry Resurrects Metro".

Stokvel membership and saving in bulk

Stokvels get their own page. Devland says that a deposit of R2 500 opens a stokvel account, which brings an exclusive membership card, bulk savings and stokvel deals "all year round", plus an invitation to an annual Stokvel Party. You can enquire through WhatsApp, by calling head office or at a store. A News24 feature on a Bethlehem outlet powered by Devland also described the business as known for supplying bulk goods to stokvel members and for special lines for hawkers, such as chips, sweets and biscuits.

What we could not confirm is a loyalty app or digital coupons. If you buy for a business, ask about account terms in the store.

Returns and consumer rights

We found no return policy on the Devland pages we opened. Since you are often buying stock for resale, ask whether returns are accepted at your branch before you load the bakkie. Defective goods are covered by the Consumer Protection Act, and you should keep your till slip.
