Mr Price Catalogue This Week

Mr Price specials catalogue for October

The Mr Price catalogue on this page is a short one, five pages, and it covers the entire month of October 2026 (1 to 31 October). The tags attached to the pages mention a cardigan and a shirt, so expect clothing at the front of the story. Because edition dates shift from one catalogue to the next, treat the dates printed on the front of each edition as the schedule to follow.

If you typed "mr price specials for ladies", "mr price specials this week" or "mr price catalogue for kids", this is the page that fits. The suggestions around the name show an unusually clear split by shopper: ladies, men, kids, shoes and dresses all appear. A short catalogue like this one is more of a taster, and the full range lives in store and online.

The company behind the red-and-white signs

Mr Price began in 1985 with a first clothing store in Klerksdorp, founded by Laurie Chiappini and Stewart Cohen, according to Wikipedia, and the group is headquartered in Durban. It is listed on the JSE as MRP, and the entry calls it the largest apparel and homeware retailer on the FTSE/JSE Top 40. The group's home page claims about 3,100 stores in 2026, while a June 2025 table in the same entry adds up to 3,030 outlets, so the number depends on the date.

Mr Price is only one brand in that group. Others listed include Mr Price Home, Mr Price Sport, Power Fashion, Sheet Street, Miladys, Studio 88 and Yuppiechef. The same Wikipedia page says South Africa generated about 92.2 percent of sales in the year it cites. If you are looking for sport or homeware offers, they may sit under a sibling brand and not in this catalogue.

Rewards, Mr Price Money and paying over time

The Mr Price website promotes two schemes by name: mrp Money and Mr Price Rewards. The page also mentions Payflex and layby among the payment options. A search of "does mr price have layby", "does mr price use payflex" and "does mr price have pay just now" shows how much interest there is in spreading costs. How a return, refund or price-adjustment request is handled depends on the retailer's policy and on local consumer rules. Read the conditions at the till or on the receipt, and keep proof of purchase. A 2025 campaign document from the group's content site is for Mr Price Money new accounts, but it would not open as readable text for us.

Our advice is simple. Before signing up for any credit-linked product, ask for the total cost in writing, check the interest and fees, and keep vouchers separate from the account balance. Promotional vouchers often carry limits, and the terms differ from campaign to campaign.

Mr Price returns and exchanges

The site lists a returns section and also offers delivery and buy-online-and-collect-in-store, but the details were not visible to us. Look at the returns page on mrp.com before you buy something you may need to bring back.

The legal floor is the Consumer Protection Act. Section 56 gives six months to return goods that are defective, unsafe or unfit, at the supplier's risk, with a choice between repair, replacement and refund. This is not a six-month change-of-mind right. In a July 2026 EWN article, consumer writer Wendy Knowler stressed that a shop's own shorter window cannot cut across those rights for faulty goods. Keep the till slip.

Opening hours, Sundays and public holidays at Mr Price

Many questions are about hours: "mr price opening hours sunday", "is mr price open on public holidays" and "when does mr price close on saturday". Be aware that some of the suggestions are clearly for Irish towns, which is a different retailer with the same name, so do not trust a result that mentions Galway or Limerick. Trading hours, public-holiday closures and seasonal schedules differ branch by branch and follow local regulation. Shoppers are advised to check in-store signage or local branch postings for location-specific schedules. Most Mr Price shops are in malls, so they usually follow the shopping centre, but that is an expectation and not a published rule. The site has a store finder.

Under South Africa's retail sectoral determination, staff cannot be required to work on a public holiday unless they agree, and they must be paid more if they do.

How to use this catalogue well

Check which brand you are really after, compare sizes in store, and note the end date: 31 October 2026. If your list also includes groceries, open the Pick n Pay weekly specials, the Shoprite specials this week and the Boxer catalogue.
