BlackBox Riyadh offers: the flyers by product family

BlackBox sells televisions, phones, laptops, home appliances and air conditioners, so its flyers read like a catalogue of gadgets, not groceries. The latest edition, Saudi National Day Deals on Home Appliances, Vol 3, is valid from 8 to 14 October 2026 and is a single page. Before it came a four-page Large Home Appliances flyer (Vol 9) and a one-page Air Conditioners flyer (Vol 8), both valid 1 to 7 October. For September we hold a one-page and a two-page flyer for air conditioners and small appliances from 22 to 30 September, and a ten-page small-appliances booklet from 11 to 30 September.

The titles carry volume numbers, a sign that several sheets are live at once. We found no clear weekday pattern in our data and no official statement about release timing, so we name no typical start day. The retailer's own site is the better place to see what is on sale today, while our Saudi Arabia electronics offers hub keeps all electronics flyers together.

BlackBox Saudi Arabia: which company is this?

Be careful with the name. The searches people run include BlackBox Saudi Arabia, BlackBox Riyadh, BlackBox contact and a few that add offers today or a location. The name is also used by unrelated businesses; for instance, a networking-equipment company called Black Box has a Saudi distributor. The one in our flyers is the Saudi electronics and home appliance retailer at blackbox.com.sa, whose About page says the company was founded in 2001 and opened its first branch in the Al-Olaya area of Riyadh, later adding a Khobar branch for the Eastern Region.

That site lists six branches: five in Riyadh (Al Izdihar, Al Muruj, Western Ring, Al Thoumamah and Al Olaya) and one in Khobar. A flyer site gives the same count of six. A Riyadh business directory also lists a BlackBox as a distributor of home appliances, though that entry is thin. If you want a showroom near you, the branch page is faster than a guess.

Instalments and payment options at BlackBox

The About page lists Visa, Mastercard, mada, Tamara, Apple Pay and bank instalment methods. The terms page adds two instalment routes: pay in 30 days or split into three payments at zero interest for orders between 100 and 5,000 SAR, and Tamara in twelve monthly payments for eligible products only. These are payment features, not price cuts, so compare the final total.

The same page says a refund to a credit card has a purchase fee of 2.2 percent deducted. That is a real cost to weigh against a flyer saving.

BlackBox returns, warranty and price terms

On the terms page, a return request can be made within seven days, with the product in its original state with all contents, plus the original invoice and your ID. For mobiles, laptops, PCs and small items, a return that follows the policy costs 38 SAR per shipment. Household appliances can be returned or replaced for a fault that does not breach the usage instructions during the warranty period, with the agent's approval, and for air conditioners the agent handles maintenance and repairs under warranty.

On prices, the same page says availability and prices may change without notice, that website prices may differ slightly from showroom prices, and that the lowest price is not fully guaranteed. In plain terms, there is no price-match promise to rely on. If a price is wrong because of an error, the company may contact you or cancel the order. Prices include VAT unless stated otherwise.

Customer service, order tracking and the website

The About page lists a customer service line, 8003022200, available around the clock, plus order tracking, wish lists and product comparison on the website. We did not find a dedicated loyalty card or points scheme, and we did not find an app, so we make no claim about either. The site also mentions a newsletter for offers.

Showroom hours and prayer times

Hours were not listed on the branch page we opened; the page points to the customer service line. A July 2021 report said a Federation of Saudi Chambers circular let shops remain open during daily prayer times, which had needed a pause of at least half an hour, and a June 2021 report described a Shura Council proposal to keep closure only for Friday prayer without giving the outcome. Call the branch before visiting on a Friday.
