The current edition has 1 pages.
According to Jarir's Saudi return and exchange page, books, electronics, software, video games and prepaid cards cannot be returned or exchanged unless they have a manufacturing defect. Defective device replacement is within 3 days of purchase.
For in-store purchases the page gives 3 days for returns and 7 days for exchanges, with the original invoice. Online orders must be returned or exchanged within 7 days of receipt.
The page says to call 920000089 and a shipping company representative can collect an online order.
Jarir Bookstore is a Saudi retailer of books, office and school supplies and consumer electronics, and the Offers we hold on AdsSOS are almost entirely electronics. Recent editions include Samsung devices (11 to 21 October 2026), the Huawei Watch GT 7 series (5 to 15 October), a Mifi X 5G mobile router (1 to 31 October), and Saudi National Day leaflets for the Redmi Note 17 series and the Galaxy S26 Ultra, both running until 4 October 2026.
Most are one-product leaflets, and validity ranges from ten days to a month. We found no official statement of a fixed release day, and we do not hold enough editions to infer one, so check each end date. All editions are gathered on the Jarir Bookstore Offers page.
We could not find a loyalty or points programme on the Jarir pages we opened this session, so we make no claim about one. The return policy does mention two payment routes that matter to bargain hunters: partner vouchers and instalment plans. Refunds for purchases made that way are not paid back to a card but handled as Jarir vouchers in store, or as store credit for online orders.
Jarir's Saudi return and exchange page is detailed. For in-store purchases, returns must be made within 3 days of purchase, exchanges within 7 days, and replacement of a defective device within 3 days. The original invoice is required for returns, exchanges and warranty service. Items must be in original packaging, and service charges are non-refundable.
The important exclusion is that books, electronics, software, video games and prepaid cards cannot be returned or exchanged unless they have a manufacturing defect. If you bought an item together with an offer, the offer item must come back with it in original condition, otherwise its value is deducted. We found no price matching policy on the page.
Refunds go back to the original payment method. If you paid through a third party, the provider's policy governs and you need the payment slip as well as the Jarir invoice. A replacement device must be free of scratches or misuse, returned with its box, manuals and accessories, and wiped of personal data.
For online orders, check the carton on delivery, because accepting it confirms it arrived sealed and in good condition. Returns and exchanges must be made within 7 days of receiving the order, at the nearest Jarir bookstore, or by calling 920000089 for a shipping company pickup if there is no branch in your city. Shipping fees, customs duties and taxes are not refunded unless the item has a manufacturing defect. Separately, a ministry release from 2019 says a buyer of a defective item may return it and claim a refund.
We could not find published opening hours or a clearance policy for Jarir. On prayer times, the Federation of Saudi Chambers announced on 16 July 2021 that shops may stay open during daily prayers, so check the branch you plan to visit.
With a three-day return window and a defect-only rule for electronics, the habit that follows from the policy is to test a device at the counter and keep the invoice. Compare Jarir with other electronics sellers such as eXtra Offers this week and Tamkeen Stores Offers this week, both of which publish leaflets on this site. AdsSOS currently files Jarir in the hypermarkets Offers section, although it is not a grocery chain.
Wikipedia describes Jarir as a company headquartered in Al Olaya, Riyadh, that began in 1974 as a small bookshop on Jarir Street and now trades on Tadawul under the ticker 4190. It lists operations in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, the UAE and Bahrain, with a product range of books, office supplies and electronics that also includes school supplies, toys, art materials and mobile phones. Its store counts there are inconsistent, so we quote none.
