ExpiredDanube publishes regional booklets. In our listings the Southern, Eastern and Central Region editions are separate files with different dates, so open the one that names your region.
No schedule is published on the Danube pages we could open. Hours vary by branch, so call the store or check the app.
We found no Danube-specific policy page. Under Saudi e-commerce rules reported by the Ministry of Commerce, an unused online purchase can be returned for a refund within seven days of the contract date.
Yes, in the sense that BinDawood Holding says customers earn points on the Danube and BinDawood apps. The earning rate and redemption terms are not published on the pages we read.
The company site names Jeddah, Riyadh, Al Khobar, Dammam and Taif.
BinDawood Holding, of which Danube has been part since 2001 according to the company website.
Danube does not publish one national sheet. Its offers come out region by region, and the sensible first step for any shopper is to pick the booklet that matches the city. Recent editions in our listings show this clearly: Amazing Offers for the Southern Region and for the Eastern Region both ran 7 to 13 October 2026, at 32 and 33 pages, while a Saudi National Day booklet for the Central Region ran 30 September to 6 October at 33 pages. Smaller numbered volumes of four to six pages travel alongside. Editions listed on AdsSOS usually start on a Wednesday, which is our own observation; no official release day turned up in our research.
Someone in Riyadh therefore wants the Central file, while a shopper in Dammam or Al Khobar should open the Eastern one. The two can differ in content and dates. Start from the Danube offers this week page and choose by region.
Wikipedia gives the founding date as 18 October 1987, with Jeddah as headquarters, and says the first hypermarket opened in 1993 at Heraa International Mall. The company site adds that Danube became part of BinDawood Holding in 2001 and describes the brand as operating the first hypermarket in the Kingdom. Store totals shift depending on the page: the company site mentions 57 locations across Saudi Arabia and Bahrain in one place and 55 in another, and Wikipedia lists 47. We therefore avoid quoting one number as definitive. The store locator names Madinah, Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam and Makkah among its cities, plus a location in Hamala, Bahrain.
For investors and the curious, an interview with the holding company's chief executive in August 2024 reported Danube sales of SAR 884.4 million in the second quarter of that year, against SAR 870.5 million a year earlier.
The company website links Danube's app on both the Apple App Store and Google Play. On loyalty, the holding company states that customers earn points by shopping on the Danube and BinDawood apps, and that it has onboarded over five million customers. The same chief executive said registered members exceeded 5.2 million in the second quarter of 2024, and that sales to registered customers had risen above 80 per cent of the total. A December 2023 trade article also describes Danube Online as having an integrated loyalty programme.
What none of these pages gives is the earning rate, the point value, or an instruction on combining points with the offers printed in the booklets. Treat any figure quoted on forums as unconfirmed and read the terms inside the app before you plan a shop around points.
Searches such as "danube delivery time" and "danube delivery charges" show where shoppers' minds go. The company site says Danube Online currently delivers premium Danube grocery products in five cities: Jeddah, Riyadh, Al Khobar, Dammam and Taif. It launched in 2017 and calls itself the first service of its kind in the country. Delivery fees, minimum baskets and time slots were not stated on the pages we opened, so check them when you build a basket.
The most typed question is probably "danube return policy", with "danube refund policy" close behind. We found no Danube page that sets out a return window, so we will not invent one. What can be said comes from the state. The Ministry of Commerce reports that purchases made through online shops fall under the e-commerce system, which gives the buyer a right to return an unused item and recover its value within seven days of the contract date, except for accommodation, transport and catering. On shelf pricing, the same ministry states that the displayed price must include VAT and must match the invoice, and that complaints about extra tax go to the ZATCA call centre on 19993.
"Danube opening hours Ramadan" and "danube opening hours Friday" are two of the strongest suggestions. No schedule is published on the Danube pages we could read, and hours will vary by mall and branch, so phone the store or check the app. For context, Gulf News reported in July 2026 that businesses may apply for a 24-hour permit covering midnight to 5 am, and that the restriction does not apply during Ramadan or Eid. Whether your branch holds such a permit is unknown to us.
Danube competes in the same hypermarket space as Lulu hypermarket offers, Hyper Panda weekly offers and Centro supermarket offers. A neat habit is to check the Danube regional booklet first, then the other two for the same dates, since they are all dated and printed by page. We hold no price data, so the comparison is done by eye. The Saudi hypermarkets category and the Saudi Arabia offers hub list every other retailer in the same format.
