Aldi Leaflet This Week: publication rhythm and schedule

Aldi publishes its offers in several streams at once. The homepage, checked in October 2026, lists Specialbuys dates running from 8 to 26 October with themes such as fireworks, winter workwear and advent calendars, a leaflet area reached through a Browse Now link, a Christmas Brochure banner, a Super 6 fruit and vegetable feature, Super Weekly Offers on fresh meat and fish, and a Wine of the Week. The editions we hold are an Aldi Christmas Brochure 2026 (6 October to 31 December 2026, 48 pages) and a Brochure valid from 24 September to 31 October 2026 (6 pages). Older Aldi Specialbuys leaflet titles name a Thursday start and a Sunday start for each sale, but those are earlier-year examples, so check the dates on the current edition.

Compare the structure with the Lidl leaflet this week, whose weekly editions we list by region, and with the wider UK supermarkets leaflets section.

How to save: loyalty card and app

We did not find a loyalty card or points scheme on the Aldi homepage we opened, and we do not claim that none exists. What the site does show are fixed features such as Super 6, Specialbuys and Wine of the Week, plus a Deliveroo ordering route with its own terms.

Aldi also runs seasonal guarantees. Its Back to School page says specified school clothing, such as shirts, polo shirts and trousers, can be returned within 12 months for a refund, while stationery, backpacks and lunchboxes are excluded.

Price matching, returns and coupon rules

Aldi does not appear to run a price-match promise of its own in the pages we saw. The scheme usually called Aldi Price Match belongs to another grocer. Sainsbury's published terms say it covers selected products only, is not available in Northern Ireland, is price checked twice weekly, and adjusts for pack size by keeping price per kilo or litre the same. The terms also say alcohol is matched in England, while Minimum Unit Pricing applies in Scotland and Wales.

For returns, Aldi's Specialbuys leaflets from 2023 state a 60-day refund policy for products bought in store, with proof of purchase and original packaging unless the item is defective, without affecting statutory rights. Those leaflets are dated, and the Back to School page points to the Help Centre for current details, so confirm the period before relying on it. Aldi's Fresh Guarantee lets you return fruit and vegetables for a full refund if you are unhappy. Gift cards cannot generally be refunded except where legal rights apply, and refunds for Deliveroo orders run through that app and require the item to be accepted in store.

Smart shopping: hours and markdown habits

Opening hours vary by store, so use the store finder. An Aldi press page about bank holidays says Scottish stores keep usual hours of 8am to 10pm Monday to Saturday and 9am to 8pm on Sunday, and that stores close on Easter Sunday. A trade report in July 2026 said Aldi was testing shorter hours, with several dozen stores closing an hour earlier. In England and Wales the Sunday Trading Act 1994 limits shops over 280 square metres to six continuous hours between 10am and 6pm on Sundays.

For non-food shopping from other publishers, the Argos catalogue this week and the United Kingdom leaflets hub help you compare.

About Aldi in United Kingdom

Aldi opened its first British store in Stechford, Birmingham, on 5 April 1990, and its first Scottish store in Kilmarnock in 1994. The UK business is run by Aldi Süd and, according to a reference page, listed 1,106 stores in October 2026: 920 in England, 107 in Scotland and 79 in Wales, with 11 warehouses. The same page says Aldi overtook Morrisons in September 2022 to become the fourth largest supermarket with a 9.3 percent share, and Lidl later passed Morrisons for fifth place.
