According to Wikipedia, Marquee Brands bought the brand in January 2025; a September 2025 FashionUnited report describes Marquee as having bought it from Gordon Brothers.
A FashionUnited report said its first standalone UK store in over five years, run with Next, opened at Lakeside Retail Park, Essex on 26 September 2025.
The latest 96-page catalogue we list runs from 1 September 2026 to 31 December 2026.
Laura Ashley is a home furnishings and fashion brand, not a grocer, even though our feed files it under UK supermarkets. The retailer does not publish a weekly leaflet that we could find, and we could not open an official statement about a release day. What AdsSOS holds is a 96-page Laura Ashley catalogue, valid from 1 September 2026 to 31 December 2026, which is a seasonal publication of about four months rather than a weekly one. Check the dates on the Laura Ashley Leaflet this week page, because the validity of each edition differs, and note that our feed links to the brand's US website, so the UK range and prices may not match what a catalogue shows.
For other home and craft ideas, the Hobbycraft leaflet this week and the Argos leaflet this week cover related ground. The United Kingdom leaflet hub lists every retailer we track.
We could not find a published Laura Ashley loyalty scheme or app in the sources we opened, and the encyclopaedia entry for the company does not mention one. We therefore make no claim about points or member prices. Because Next operates the brand's current UK retail presence according to trade press, shoppers who buy through Next should check Next's own account and delivery terms, which we could not open and so do not describe.
The Laura Ashley returns page returned a server error when we tried it, and the Next returns page refused access, so we cannot state any return window, price-match promise or coupon rule. We prefer to say so rather than guess. As a general point, UK consumer law gives you rights when goods are faulty or not as described, and online purchases carry statutory cancellation rights; check the order confirmation for the retailer that actually sold the item, since the brand is sold both directly and through partners.
Opening hours vary by site. The first standalone Laura Ashley store in more than five years, a 10,000 square foot unit at Lakeside Retail Park in Essex, was reported as opening on 26 September 2025 and operated by Next. In England and Wales, shops with a sales area above 280 square metres may trade on a Sunday for no more than six hours between 10:00 and 18:00, and they must close on Easter Sunday and Christmas Day. A unit of that size is therefore subject to the limit. In Scotland, Sunday trading has never been generally restricted. We found no official statement about clearance or sale timing, so we describe none; the catalogue dates on this page are the best guide to when a campaign runs.
Laura and Bernard Ashley founded the business in London in the early 1950s, starting with printed headscarves, and moved to Wales in 1961. The company listed on the stock market in 1985. Its UK retail arm entered administration in March 2020, when it had about 150 retail locations, and Gordon Brothers acquired the brand name, archives and intellectual property in April 2020. According to the encyclopaedia entry, Marquee Brands bought the brand in January 2025; a September 2025 trade report describes Marquee as a New York company owning 17 brands, which had bought Laura Ashley from Gordon Brothers.
The brand returned to UK high streets in 2021 with a flagship at Westfield London and a presence in Next stores and on the Next website. Its range covers clothing, home furnishings, fabrics, wallpaper, children's and baby items and bags, and by the end of 2022 about 600 retailers stocked it alongside its own stores. A 2026 trade interview describes Next as the main UK retail partner.
