Al Andalus Trading Co. Offers This Week

Al Andalus Trading Co. Kuwait: Samsung and appliance offers

This is not a supermarket and not a general trading firm in the loose sense. In Kuwait, Al Andalus Trading Company is the group behind the Andalus Electronics showrooms, and its leaflets on AdsSOS are almost entirely about big household equipment: Samsung washers, Samsung refrigerators, Samsung televisions and, most recently, projectors. The projector page is valid 15 to 21 October, a Samsung washer page ran 8 to 14 October, a refrigerator page 7 to 13 October and a repeated TV page earlier in the month. All are single pages. Searches for the exact company name give "al andalus trading company kuwait" and several look-alike companies in Saudi Arabia, Sharjah and elsewhere, so be careful not to confuse them.

No official release day was found and our data does not show a stable start weekday. The pages are one-page notices, so check the printed dates.

What the company says about itself

The Andalus Electronics app listing says the firm was founded in 1963, opened its first showroom in Nugra, and now has more than five showrooms across Kuwait's governorates with a flagship called Centro. It also says Samsung chose it as sole distributor of Samsung mobile phones and home appliances, and adds Hisense, Ariston and Ferre as distributed brands. That is the company's own claim and we could not confirm it from an independent page, so treat the distribution wording as self-description. The listing also mentions credit instalments, free delivery and installation, layaway and extended warranty.

Gulf Bank Easy Pay: a documented instalment route

An independent page does exist for instalments. Gulf Bank's Easy Pay list for electronics names Andalus and describes a 12-month, interest-free plan with a minimum purchase of KD 50, charge cards excluded, and states that refunds go back to the same card. It also lists showroom addresses and phone numbers in Farwaniya, Kuwait City, Salmiya, Al Rai, Hawally and Fahaheel. The page may not be current, so call the showroom to confirm the plan is available on the model in the leaflet. We found no Andalus loyalty card or price-match policy.

Why searching is confusing

Google Suggest for "al andalus trading" lists an establishment, a company in Saudi Arabia, a refrigerating firm in Sharjah and an electrical contractor, along with the Kuwait one. For the Kuwait retailer, the closest real strings are "al andalus trading company kuwait" and the shorter brand name. Seeds for offers, hours, returns and app produced nothing at all, which tells you that few people search this company directly; most arrive by way of the Samsung product they want. In practice, start from the Samsung model name and the showroom location.

Returns, defects and the law

No Andalus return policy was published on a page we could read. In Kuwait the legal baseline comes from Consumer Protection Law 39 of 2014, explained in a Kuwait Times report on a ministry statement: a defective product can be exchanged or returned within 14 days, the invoice is needed, and disputes go to the National Committee for Consumer Protection. For large appliances, ask whether the delivery team will unpack and test the unit on the day, because delivered items are harder to dispute later.

Opening times and Fridays

We could not verify showroom hours. The Bank of Scotland trade guide says Friday is the weekly rest day in Kuwait, and the Gulf Daily News reported that since September 2022 stores in residential areas must close by midnight, with cooperative central markets and pharmacies exempt. Showrooms inside malls will follow the mall, so a call to the Gulf Bank-listed numbers or the branch you pick is wise.

Where to compare appliance offers

Samsung products are widely stocked, so compare before you commit. Open the X-Cite offers this week page and the Best Al-Yousifi Electronics weekly offers for TVs and appliances, then the Eureka Electronics offers for smaller devices. A household basket that also includes books or devices may suit the Jarir Bookstore Kuwait offers. The category room is the Kuwait electronics hub, and everything else sits on the Kuwait offers hub. Because every page here is a single product, it is easy to miss the next one, so scroll back through earlier editions for the same brand. Compare the exact model number, energy rating and installation terms, not only the brand.
